Google can be your best friend. You know this. But if you have a calendar you’ve had for while, you know there are thousands of events on there. If you are displaying that on your website, or within Thunderbird or Outlook, it can slow down wherever it “lives”. That’s exactly what happened to me.
I needed to share my calendar with a colleague, but trying to bring it into his Thunderbird would lock his system up! Google how to do this, and you will be greeted with “you can’t”, or if you do, you have to delete 100% of the events from the calendar. I needed some of the older entries, and all the future entries and wasn’t willing to give up.
I worked out how to do exactly what I wanted to do, and recorded a video for you so you can mass delete Google calendar events yourself.
